Cain costume and image edit:
Here's a blast from the past when I was searching through my photo folders trying decide what to edit for the dev-a-day challenge I found this pic. I don't many pics of Cain at all and less showing the wings I made... none of the back (if anyone at the Madman finals in 2010 got any good pics please let me know!) so I decided to have a play around and edit this pic.
Madman was pretty damn awesome I am so glad I took part in it and got to complete with such excellent cosplayers.
and I are seriously considering entering together next year... very very seriously...
This was my final costume for the Madman National Cosplay Comp 2010. I came third WHOO!
This costume ate my life for 4 months - I slept (little), ate (VERY quickly), worked (while thinking of cosplay) and cosplayed. Oh the cosplay.
This competition was epic and I am so honored to have been apart of it.
HUGE THANKS NEED TO GO TO:
- I could not have made the Lance without him. HE IS AN AWESOME COSPLAY PROP SPECIALIST! I couldn't have made this at my place (I live in a TINY apartment) and I was really quite scared of power tools (I am rather fond of my fingers). Thank you thank you thank you for all your help!
- Came to Brisbane with me. Helped carry my horrendous amount of luggage. Dressed me. Put up with my crazy. Helped with last minute painting etc. Again, I could not have done this without you.
- For putting up with me talking Cain all day... every day at work... for four months. Thank you SO much for all your help/advice/brainstorming. Again again - I could not have done this without you.
There are SO many other people who helped make this happen and I will credit you in my journal entry but thank you EVERYONE. This costume really showed me how lucky I am to have such awesome AWESOME friends! THANK YOU!
